Sometimes unexpected circumstances change everything you have planned for and you think your dream wedding goes down the drain. This is Dominic and Swetha’s story…
The day started out bright and sunny with blue skies. Everything was going very well. Swetha looked lovely as ever and Dominic looked dashing with his beige suit.
They headed off to St.Michael’s church in Sharjah to say their vows and exchange rings. However, the first unexpected thing happened. The priest arrived late due unavoidable circumstances.
But the show must go on and Dominic and Swetha walked dowm the aisle with genuine smiles.
After the church ceremony, they headed home for some traditional ceremony at home with parents.
On the way to Atlantis, the sky started getting dark. A storm was on its way. Well in Dubai, storms are not accompanied by rain and lightning but strong winds and a lot of sand! So the planned beach side wedding was not possible. Atlantis staff had scramble to shift the beach party setting to an indoor hall!
Our planned creative portrait session was scrapped unless we wanted to eat dust outside! I must commend the Atlantis staff for their fast action (although the 7pm dinner was shifted to past 9pm). For our creative session, they offered to take us to the best suite in the house. Things got better!!! And as the night went on, things got better. Enjoy the rest of the pics!
