As requested by the couple, we will not be revealing their real identities. S and S had a very intimate wedding with very few family and friends invited to witness their union. We were lucky to be part of it. I think one of the advantages of having few guests which would include your first degree family members and friends is that you get to really focus on each other and be able to laugh and chat with every guest.
It was really a sunny, happy day with pops of yellow. Yellow shoes, yellow balloons and yellow flower arrangements which was hand-made by our bride. She had an early preparation which included a family prayer and blessings. Then we went to St. Mary’s Church for a short mass.
They had their simple dinner at the Movenpick Hotel at the Ibn Batuta Gate which was attended by a few friends. But before that, we stopped at Umm Suqeim beach for some romantic photos.
