When Is the Best Time for a Pre-Wedding Shoot in Dubai?
If you’ve ever tried taking photos in Dubai during summer, preceding in Dubai, you already know the struggle.
It’s 45°C outside, and the heat presses on relentlessly. Your makeup is slowly giving up as sweat gathers at the hairline and slides down your cheeks. The outfit is sticking to you, making each motion feel heavier than it should.
Despite all this, you keep a composed expression. You’re smiling like everything is perfectly fine, concealing how uncomfortable you feel. The motion becomes heavier with every step.
We’ve been there.
Dubai is beautiful almost all year. For a preceding in Dubai pre-wedding shoot, October to April is the time we’d recommend.
The weather is cooler, and the light is softer. You can actually enjoy walking around without reapplying sunscreen every five minutes.
Our favorite months are November to March, especially if you want to spend a few hours moving around different locations without feeling completely drained.
And honestly, there’s something about taking photos when you’re comfortable. You laugh more. You move naturally. You stop thinking about the heat and start enjoying the person beside you.
That’s when the good photos usually happen.
5 Beautiful Places for a Pre-Wedding Shoot in Dubai
1. The Desert
If you want that quiet, cinematic feeling, the desert is hard to beat.
There’s no crowd, no distractions, just the two of you, endless sand, and that beautiful Dubai sunset. We especially love shooting here closer to golden hour when everything starts turning warm and soft.
It feels simple, but somehow very intimate.
2. Al Qudra Lakes
Al Qudra is one of those places that people sometimes overlook.
You get lakes, desert, trees, and open skies all in one place that feels distinct from typical city shoots.
It’s perfect if you want your photos to feel less like a typical preceding in Dubai shoot. It also offers a little escape from the city, letting your subjects breathe.
3. Dubai Old Town & Al Fahidi
Not every pre-wedding shoot needs fancy buildings and huge views.
The old streets around Al Fahidi have a completely different charm. The textures, little alleys, old walls, and quiet corners give your photos a more nostalgic feel.
It’s especially nice for couples who want something relaxed and less “Dubai postcard.”
4. Downtown Dubai
Of course, we can’t talk about Dubai without Downtown.
The Burj Khalifa, city lights, modern architecture, and busy streets can give your photos that unmistakable Dubai feeling.
And if you’re visiting Dubai for the first time, why not have a few photos that remind you exactly where you were?
5. Jumeirah Beach
For couples who want something softer, head to the beach.
Early morning or late afternoon works beautifully, especially when the sun is lower and the beach feels quieter. Barefoot, wind in your hair, no complicated posing.
Just you two.
A Little Tip From Us
If you’re planning your Dubai pre-wedding shoot, don’t try to squeeze everything into one afternoon.
Give yourself time to breathe, change outfits, grab coffee, get lost for a little bit, or simply enjoy being together.
Because years from now, you probably won’t remember whether you got the perfect pose.
You’ll remember how you felt that day.
And those are the moments we love photographing the most.
