Last June, we were blessed to be booked to shoot a grand wedding in Georgia. Aditya and Rashee booked Lopota Lake Resort for their guests as they will be celebrating their 2 day wedding there. Lopota Lake is located near the town of Telavi which 1.5 hours drive away from Georgia’s capital, Tbilisi. This amazing country is full of really kind people, places to see and great food!
Rana of Rightstar Events had managed to make this event a success considering he brought almost all his decor stuff and support team from Dubai and India. Even the caterers were flown in from Dubai as it is difficult to find good Indian in Georgia.
For our team, we decided to bring everyone along (including our kids and family) even though the couple booked 2 photographers and 2 cinematographers only. Flights are cheap and it is not too far away from Dubai. It was a good opportunity for some team building and to see some new places too. The team had a great time and we were able to capture great moments from the wedding while having fun.
Before the actual wedding, we were able to go around with Aditya and Rashee for prewedding photoshoot in Tbilisi. Our first location was Waterfall Leghvtakhevi. Then we walked up the spiral staircase to see some old house and have a shoot in between the alleyways. And just a few feet was the Botanical Garden. After the Botanical Garden, we went up the funicular where there was a fantastic view of Tbilisi. It was a long day as sunset came around past 8pm. Here are our prewedding photos around Tbilisi.
