Dubai has a lot of beautiful places perfect for a couple photoshoot. When Shawn and Chryslyn booked us for their wedding, they already knew where they want to have their wedding photos taken. Chryslyn, based in Australia, wanted fun and creative images for her wedding day. And City Walk Dubai by Meraas was the perfect location for the fun wedding photoshoot she wanted.
They decided to have their first look in City Walk Meraas before the wedding ceremony at St.Mary’s Church. The whole entourage was with them. It was around noon so it was not the best timing but their schedule was tight after the church ceremony. There are a lot of quirky wall murals around City Walk and we had fun taking photos there.

After the photoshoot in City Walk, we directly went to St.Mary’s Church in Oud Metha where Shawn and Chryslyn sealed their love with a kiss. We thought it was cute Chryslyn’s mother was Shawn’s grade school teacher! Good thing Shawn did not anything really naught otherwise I am sure Chryslyn’s mother would have detested!
Chryslyn and Shawn wanted a ton of funny and sweet memories for their day so after the church ceremony, we went to Sheraton Creek Hotel, the venue for their reception to take more photos around the hotel. The couple and their entourage were a humorous bunch because they had crazy poses already in mind and they were game for silly group photo ideas too.
All our couples are unique and each one has an idea of how they want their wedding day to be. For Shawn and Chryslyn, it was an opportunity for them to be silly, have fun and take photos around Dubai. And if you plan to have a photoshoot in City Walk too, as of this writing, all you have to do is secure a permit by visiting the Meraas office in City Walk and just tell them that it is a personal shoot. They will be happy to grant you one!
