December is always the wedding season in this part of the world. The “June” in Middle East and as Dubai wedding photographers, we just love this season not only because of the hectic shooting schedule but because of the lovely weather it brings. This wedding is our last wedding for 2012.
Ali and Cristine met at work and it was practically love at first sight.
Cristine contacted us and asked us to shoot her wedding. She was a very hands on bride planning every detail of her wedding day. People are flying from all over the world, from the United Kingdom to the Philippines. She wanted it to be a dream come true.
We started off shooting Cristine’s preparation at the Country Club Hotel in Bur Dubai. She rode a limousine to St.Francis of Assisi Church in Jebel Ali were she met Ali down the aisle. After exchanging vows, everyone went to the Emirates Golf Club.
It was our first time to shoot a wedding in the Emirates Golf Club and interesting enough, it had a fascinating area for an intimate gathering. Guests rode the golf cart to the area which was far from the hustle and bustle of the Sheikh Zayed Road but you can see all the towering skyscrapers at the background. Green grass and the white picket fences gave that American feel (although it was a British-Filipino wedding).
Ali and Cristine gave touching speeches and danced their first dance as husband and wife. They adapted the Filipino tradition where guests will pin money on their clothes as a sign of prosperity for the years to come.
