Another Dubai wedding and this couple is one gorgeous pair. They also knew what they really wanted. A week before the wedding they called us several times to discuss how the day would go. So we met at Madinat Jumeirah to discuss where we will do their creative shoots. They have allotted 3 hours for just creative portraits. They really wanted to have beautiful photos…and that’s what they would get.
Sheron and Anya had their wedding ceremony in Ramada Hotel, Bur Dubai. The poolside was decorated with white flower garlands and red rose petals were thickly scattered on the floor for Anya to walk on. Close friend and family were present to witness the Hindu-Christian ceremony were they exchanged garlands and rings. This gorgeous couple looked like Bollywood stars.
After the ceremony, a meal on banana leaves were served. Looked interesting!
After lunch, they left in a gorgeous Audi convertible.
The next day was the reception in Park Hyatt. But before the reception in the evening, Sheron and Anya arranged for the whole entourage to come early for some creative portraits in Al Qasr and Souk Madinat Jumeirah.
We had the chance to shoot the bride and the groom on the abra. It was a lovely day and we had lovely shots of the couple and their entourage.
We also had a chance to shoot by the Pier Chic boardwalk, a favorite location of ours.
After 2 hours, we went to Park Hyatt to get started with the party. Sheron and Anya had practiced a grand entrance to the tunes of “Way I Are” and “A Thousand Years”. Then they cut the cake and dinner was served. Of course, pictures with the guests should not be missed. It was a cold December night but we enjoyed the warmth of people’s smiles. Another beautiful wedding on to the books.
