There are things in life which happens and suddenly changes everything. For me, that is motherhood. It changed my life and how I see things. I used to like loud music, staying up until late and going out a lot. Now, I got to liking soft music because it lulls Khloe to sleep. Driving fast isn’t my thing anymore especially when I have my little one as passenger. I have become more conscious with what I do especially during this stage when she watches and imitates my every move. My priorities also changed. My extra money now goes to her basic and secondary (toys and clothes) needs first. Before we were a bit of carefree and our only dream was to travel and see the world. Though that desire hasn’t gone, we have put her future first. We now save for her education. Instead of watching TV, I enjoy playing with her and reading with her.
Being a mom and sacrificing things for my child made me realize how much my mother gave up and sacrificed for us. I value her more and made me thankful for all she has done. And since it is Mother’s Day in this part of the world (Middle East), let me tell how wonderful a mother you are.
