I have a lot of photos and stories to post from our US trip but let me take a break and post about this long overdue Atlantis wedding, Rejin and Suzy’s second day celebration. When I say this is an awesome party, it is an understatement. Rejin and Suzy had more than 700 guests. When the big buses full of well-wishers arrived in the Asateer Tent parking lot, we knew it was not going to be simple celebration.
The guests were greeted by a life-size cardboard cut-out of the couple. It was like they were attending a celebration of a Bollywood couple.
While the guests poured in, we had a few minutes for some creative shots with the couple in their suite.
It was heating up in the Asateer tent as the tables were filled. I was caught by surprise when the loud music started and Rejin’s friends danced their way in the hall. Everyone was clapping and shouting when Rejin and Suzy entered. It was sure going to be the best entertainment we will have!
After the speeches and after the buffet was opened for everyone, the entertainment started with a dance number from Rejin and Suzy’s friends. We provided the live feed so everyone in all corners of the hall was able to watch. There were several dance numbers, a few friends sung and some delivered punch lines. We were also entertained and it was the first time we have seen such celebration! It was the best fun ever and probably the biggest wedding for 2013! (Let’s see, challenges to all couples out there). It was a great show put up by Rejin and Suzy’s friends. We were touched by the effort they have exerted to make this day memorable for Rej and Suzy.
Rejin and Suzy capped the night off with a dance number from them and then everybody rocked the dance floor until wee hours. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
