Fernando and Norelyn got married a year before this photoshoot in the beautiful Batanes Islands in the northern part of the Philippines. It is one of the places in the Philippines which is in our bucket list because of it’s beautiful surroundings, clear blue sea, green grass and stone houses. Just google Batanes and check out the images and you will know what I am talking about.
However, their wedding day got too busy and they weren’t able to have creative portraits of just the two of them. So on their first wedding anniversary, Fernando and Norelyn decided to celebrate it with a desert anniversary photoshoot since they are both based in Dubai. They booked a suite in Bab Al Shams Desert Resort and brought their wedding gown and suit. They hired the lovely Anna de Leon to do Norelyn’s hair and make up.
With the old Arabic architecture and the desert backdrop, Bab Al Shams was a perfect setting. We took the lovely couple around the property and they get to pose with the camel. 🙂
We think having an anniversary photoshoot is a memorable way to celebrate your wedding anniversary. Book a suite in a beautiful hotel or resort and hire a photographer shoot creative portraits for one hour. You don’t necessarily have to wear your wedding outfits. End the end, you get to keep beautiful anniversary photos and you get to celebrate and relax to treat yourselves.
