When we met Jo, she happily talked about how she met Nick and how they unexpectedly got together. Nick was working with the American Army in Afghanistan that time. He visited Dubai two years ago with some comrades and went go to experience a desert safari. There he met Jo while she was getting some food from the buffet table. He asked for his number but she declined and only gave him an email address. They exchanged emails and Nick visited Dubai more often than usual. Finally, Jo gave him her number and they chatted for hours. Love comes unexpectedly sometimes and Jo was just beginning a life in Dubai and she was hoping to stay here for a long time. When Nick proposed, Jo’s life took a turn and the future became uncertain. Would they stay in Dubai where Jo had a stable career? Afghanistan wasn’t a place for them so were they going back to the US and start all over?
This engagement photography session was shoot in 2 separate days in Souk Madinat Jumeirah, the Umm Suqeim Beach, a desert in Al Khawaneej and in Souk Al Bahar.
After their 2-day engagement shoot, Jo and Nick finally decided to go back to the US and get married there October this year. They are not sure what they will do but they said as long as they were together, everything will be alright. Ah, love. The future is uncertain for all of us…life anyways is a journey. What matters is who we are with while we take this journey.
