Maybe I shouldn’t call this Trash the Dress because we really didn’t trash the dress. Litty was still very careful  not to mess her bridal gown. After all, bridal gowns are not only expensive but they hold a significant sentimental value to brides…for them, it is not just a dress, but is THE dress they wore when they married the love of their lives.
We covered Rijo and Litty’s friend’s wedding and when saw our work, they loved our work that they asked us to take their post wedding photos. They were looking for a fun and sweet shoot and a bit more romantic. Our first destination was the Khalifa Park in Abu Dhabi.
Rijo and Litty had fun playing around in their sneakers. The kids suddenly had competition on the swings…they couldn’t wait for the lovebirds to get off the swings.
Our next venue was the Yas Viceroy Hotel. It was a perfect shoot as the sun was setting and the amazing facade lights started to lit.
I think post wedding shoots or trash the dress is a good idea to do if you had not enough time during your wedding day to capture portraits of just the two of you. As a couple, you are more relaxed and you are not stressed about time. It will also ease your mind if you get your suit and gown a bit filthy.
