Like all other weddings or events, Mhel and Aldrin faced glitches during the preparation. But what we liked about this couple is that they stayed cool and relaxed. They enjoyed their day and partied throughout the night.
Well I wasn’t surprised when they handled pressure well because remember our engagement shoot last winter? They weathered the cold, smiled and posed in front of the camera so sweetly while I shivered in my jacket. Have I told you that they are our first couple in Dubai who are both Filipinos? Just saying,…we are proud Filipinos too. 🙂
Going back to the their big day, Aldrin and Mhel really felt relieved when they saw each other while she walked down the aisle. I think that is how you really feel when you see your bride/groom walking towards you. Isn’t she lovely?
This photo defines what a “tying a knot” really meant. 🙂
I love the colors of the confetti blast as they exited the church.
I love having two angles of the same shot… this is Arish’s angle using a 35mm while I used a 10-20mm.
Before the reception, we had a few minutes to shoot a few creative portraits in their hotel room and hotel lobby.
On to the reception at the Godolphin Ballroom at Emirates Towers. The ballroom was looking awesome and the stage was set for a night of partying! The party was emceed by our good friend, Wendell. There was a live band and for me, nothing beats live music.
Look at how poised Mhel was while cutting the cake while Aldrin looked like a congressman running for president. 🙂
While the guest ate the sumptuous food, there was a violin number and a song by a cute little girl. After the funny bouquet and garter toss, the people partied the night away with hands up in the air while the rest lined up for a fun shoot at the photobooth!
Mhel and Aldrin, you guys are awesome and thanks for letting us tell your story.
