This is the story of Raimund and Jovelle and the day they said their vows for eternity.
It was a bright, sunny November day and Raimund seemed to forget how to tie a tie. And he thought relaxing on a sofa would make the butterflies in his stomach go away. He is getting married after all.
The bride, Jovelle, on the other hand, forgot she had a bridesmaid to help her wear her shoes and gown!
This gorgeous shot of hers was captured as she looked behind her while her bridesmaid buttoned her gown.
Here is another stunning shot as she walked down the stairs.
No wonder little girls dream to become brides one day…it seems that women magically transform into divine creatures on their wedding day. They are simply breathtaking.
And so after the dressing up, hair-fixing, running up and down the down, the bride finally got into the car. She nervously waved at the camera as they drove away. Oh wait, I gotta catch her go down the car at church!
And yes we did caught up to her! It was a bit windy as she walked towards the church doors.
Raimund patiently awaited his bride and we could almost hear his thumping heartbeat. 😀
It was great to see relieved smiles as they held each other’s hands and looked at each other. Their thoughts are stories untold but we can just look at this image and know for sure, it is a happy one.
Tears of joy! I almost cried shooting this part of the ceremony as they said vows.
She is the right one for him, and he is the right one for her. His dad seems to approve!
I think they are the most excited newly weds I have ever seen. Just look at their smiles! If asked what I think they were saying in this photo, it would say they exclaimed “Finally!”
If there were tears during the ceremony, there were more on the way to the reception hall at the World Trade Center.
After the ceremony, we thought of doing a 15-minute creative shot in front of Emirates Towers. However, the weather was a unbearably hot so we only got really few shots.
After being fried under the afternoon sun for less than 5 minutes, we went to the reception loung where the guests had a few drinks and a few laughs with the bride and the groom.
Wish we could tell you more than what happened to the gigantic cake and how toasts are delivered with an Ipad but we sometimes time doesn’t allow us to.
But before this story ends, important details should not be missed…especially the tallest cake we have ever seen and the buffet table fit for a king or a head chef who was the groom!
To Raimund and Jovelle, thanks for letting us tell your wonderful story!
