We promised to catch up with all the backlogs we have dated back til last April! Whew! Not a lot of catching up but we suddenly realized how long we have been out of circulation. We haven’t even updated our website www.melrish.com to link to this blogsite instead of our blogspot blogs…
Last March we had the opportunity to shoot a very nice wedding of a German beauty to an Egyptian hunk. They were just the picture perfect couple. They were married at the Waterside in Murooj Rotana.
The weather was great and everything fell into place. We were just surprised when the couple arrived at the venue 2 hours early to make sure everything was ok – from the table decorations to the music. They went back to their rooms to change when the early guests and relatives started trickling in.
After an hour, the Zaffa started and the gorgeous couple arrived in an equally gorgeous Lambourghini! Then the party began!
What we really love about weddings is how sincere and intimate couples can be. Their joy is just so genuine that witnesses can’t help but feel the love in the air.
Here are a few photos we took when went to a more private area in the Murooj grounds to shoot creative portraits of the couple.
The party was lively with the music and chit chats. Then a magician took the centerstage and performed magical tricks! But that’s not all! The couple also got the Dubai drums to entertain and teach the guests to play the beat!
And late into the night while people got busy with the food and with all the entertainment they had, we caught a few intimate moments we are sure Sandy and Essam will treasure forever.
