As wedding and event photographers in Dubai, one of the most developed cities in the Middle East, we go to the best hotel venues and meet a lot of people. So we need to be fashionable as well so we do not get discriminating looks from guests and we get to blend in the crowd during a party. We try to dress as decent as we can. So I need a bag to match – not a Louis Vuitton nor a Chanel. I need a bag to carry my wallet, my water (we get thirsty a lot), a lipstick and powder, our business cards, pens, my Ipad (we need to be organized), my Tic-tac and of course, my camera! Designer bags will not last 6 months with all these and the daily beating unless it was a rolling luggage! And I am not brand conscious to splurge on designer bags like those.
The bag in my mind is something I can use daily too. I want to bring my camera everywhere I go but not look like a “cameraman” with a big black backpack. I love my Nat Geo bag which is all worn out but it doesn’t suit me when I wear a pearl necklace nor a lacy blouse with a coat.
The bag in my mind came late for Christmas…but it is definitely worth the worth the wait! And I loooooove it! (drum roll please….) I present my Kelly Moore bag!!!
P.S. I am not pregnant…I just need more exercise. 🙂
