When we met Arnold and Stacie for on the first meeting, we felt comfortable with them (we hoped they felt comfortable with us too). Stacie is like a ray of sunshine who smiled and joked a lot. Her aura will make anyone feel happy. Her laugh was contagious. I will not wonder how or why Arnold was in love with her and would want to spend the rest of his life with her.
Stacie was a teacher from Canada but is now based here in the UAE teaching in a school here. They met each other through a common friend. Arnold came from a bad relationship and wasn’t looking for love until he met Stacie.
Stacie’s parents and grandparents flew in for their wedding. The ceremony was held in St.Mary’s Dubai.
Right after the ceremony, the guests headed over to Hyatt Golf Club. It was a very fresh and private green venue for a wedding. There was a small pond and lots of trees backdropping the covered lawn. Most of the decorations and preparations were done by Arnold and Stacie’s friends (I love the purple – reminds me of my friend Tricia) but Stacie’s mother had a personal touch on things – the monogrammed M&Ms, the souvenirs and the invitations which unfortunately didn’t come on time. The celebration was a reflection of the happy couple as they topped the afternoon with a first dance to Bryan Adam’s Everything I do, I do it For you mashed up with Tu Mera Hero. It was truly a happy day under the bright blue sky.
To Arnold and Stacie, stay happy and thank you for making us part of the start of your journey called marriage. Blessings to both of you! Hugs!
Special thanks to our team and 2nd shooters – Allan, Rico & Trix
