Smita is an event planner and Sahil is a DJ both based in the US. They are having a quick holiday in Dubai and they booked us for an engagement photoshoot in the desert. The photos will be used for their Save The Date cards and to be played in a slideshow for their August wedding in Virginia.
It was a pleasant morning but later in the afternoon, a sandstorm started to brew. Shooting in a desert while there was a sandstorm going on was a crazy idea! Really crazy but we still went for it! These shots are taken with sand blowing into my ears and into my mouth whenever we talked or smiled. But kudos to the couple for braving the sandstorm. Who knew that the photos would turn out like these!
After facing the sandstorm, we drove to Bab Al Shams where they booked a romantic dinner for the two of them. Good thing the sandstorm has mellowed down a bit and we were able to get clear shots around the hotel.
Even though we had sand in our gums and undies, we enjoyed the shoot and we were happy with what we got!
