If you’re a fan of Love is Blind (and who isn’t?), you’ll instantly recognize Dounia and Chafic, the stars of the iconic “Habibi” season. But let me tell you, witnessing their love story up close was even more incredible than anything TV could capture.
We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to document their proposal. What really stood out to me, though, was how kind they were to us. They were not just stars of a hit show—they were down-to-earth, warm, and genuinely lovely people. From the moment we arrived, Dounia and Chafic treated us like old friends, making sure we were comfortable and excited to be part of their special day. It’s not every day you meet people who are as kind as they are genuine, and it made the whole experience even more memorable.
Watching them together was pure magic. Their chemistry is undeniable, but it’s their kindness and authenticity that really make them shine. When they stepped onto that beach, it was clear: this wasn’t just another pretty proposal, it was a reflection of the real, deep love they’ve built since those first sparks on Love is Blind. Being able to capture that moment, and witness their love and warmth firsthand, was an experience I’ll never forget.
The setting was perfect—waves crashing, the sun setting, and Chafic about to drop to one knee. The excitement and love between them were so palpable that even the ocean seemed to take a breather. You could see how completely at ease they were, sharing inside jokes and quiet moments before the big question was asked. And when Chafic asked Dounia to marry him? You could feel the whole universe saying “Yes!”(that includes us!)
This wasn’t just a proposal; it was a beautiful chapter in their real love story. It was authentic, raw, and as sweet as it gets—and I had the privilege of capturing it all on camera.
